Pakistan Zindabad - Happy Independence Day to All Pakistanis
Happy Independence Day to All Pakistanis residing in Pakistan or living abroad. Pakistan’s Independence Day is celebrated every year on 14 August since 1947. On this 14 August, 2010 we have enjoyed 63 years of independence and sovereignty. Pakistan was come into being on 14 August 1947 by Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with the blessings and mercy of Allah. Many great Muslim leaders took part in the Independence Movement to give us the freedom e.g. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Nawabzada Liaqat Ali Khan, Chaudhary Rehmat Ali, Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan…. Today we should pay tribute to our great leaders.

On 14 August, the public holiday is observed every year. Independence day is celebrated in all provinces and territories of Pakistan by flag raising ceremonies, a tribute to the national heroes and fireworks.

While celebrating National Independence Day, we should not forget our brothers who are in trouble due to flood. We should stand with a new passion for the help and support of these flood victims.

President and Prime Minister will raise the flag in President House, Parliament House, Prime Minister House and other Federal Government Main Offices in Islamabad. While all Chief Ministers and Governors will raise Pakistani Flags in their provincial headquarters.  All government officials preach Quaid’s Motto “Unity, Faith and Discipline” in their speeches.

Every Pakistani is praying for the development and prosperity of Pakistan. May our country celebrate millions of Independence Days.
PAKISTAN ZINDABAD (Long Live Pakistan)
