Assets Details of Pakistani Parliamentarians

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued details of the assets and liabilities of parliamentarians; MNAs, MPAs and Senators. Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, Khalil Zaman Orakzai (NA-16) and Dr Raja Ameer Zaman (NA-19) from Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), Sajid Hussain Turi (NA-37) and Bismillah Khan (NA-43) from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi (NA-50) were also among the billionaires.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is the Richest Parliamentarian and has declared assets worth Rs.1.824 billion. 

Jamshed Dasti is the poorest parliamentarian having the least amount of assets, with only his salaried bank account.

PTI chairman Imran Khan owns assets amounting to Rs 20.96 million.

The total assets declared by JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman are worth Rs 29.06 million.

Assets declared by PML-Q leader Ch Pervaiz Elahi stand at 197.09 million.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has assets worth Rs 41.8 million.

Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has Rs 26.09 million worth of assets.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Farooq Sattar has assets of Rs3.64 million.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is the richest Chief Minister among all four Chief Ministers. He has assets worth Rs 424 million.

KPK Chief Minister has assets amounting to Rs 232 million Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik’s assets worth Rs 40.04 million.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has assets comprising of Rs 16.02 million.
