Free Laptops for Students of Islamabad, KPK, Sindh, Baluchistan, AJK, Gilgit Baltistan and Deeni Madaris by Government of Punjab

Provincial Government of Punjab gave laptops to 1 lac talented students of Punjab last year on merit base, see details. This year 1 lac more laptops will be granted to students, see details of Laptop Scheme Phase-II. Now the government has taken one step further by offering laptops to meritorious students of other provinces of Pakistan including federal capital Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir. Students of other provinces are pleased with this decision.

According to details, 400 top students each of Matric and Intermediate examinations, from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Azad Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan will be granted HP laptops free.   Top 10 students in each department of public sector federal universities in Islamabad and their campuses in Islamabad will also get free laptops. Foreign students of Indian Occupied Kashmir also eligible for this scheme.

4000 laptops will also be gifted to talented students of Deeni Madaris. Auqaf Department will make merit criteria for students of Madaris and will also distribute laptops after approval of merit policy by CM. 

Foreign students and students who are doing any job or getting a scholarship from HEC are not eligible for this scheme. Students who have already got laptop last year are also not eligible.
