NADRA CNIC and Form-B Status Tracking via SMS
You can track the status of your applications regarding CNIC, NICOP and Form-B etc with the help of an SMS service of NADRA. To facilitate the citizens, NADRA has introduced this simple, easy and convenient service through which a person can track the status of his CNIC or Form-B etc. application through just one SMS. If you have applied for a new CNIC or Form-B or any other document from NADRA and want to check the status you can use this service to know the recent progress of your CNIC etc.
NADRA has developed one of the best database systems of the world and they are improving it day by day to ease ID card holders and for new applicants. Before this system applicants have to visit the NADRA office to inquire about the status of their application and people have to wait for hours in line for their number. But now they can track the status of their CNIC through SMS service.
It is a very convenient service for applicants who are curious to know when their identity card will be available for pick up. In some cases, applicants need it as soon as possible so they can check whenever and as many time as they want just by sending an SMS.

NADRA SMS Tracking Service (8400)
You can check the status of your ID card or Form-B by entering the tracking ID which is given on the token.
To track the identity card application status SMS the Tracking ID to 8400, Open Write SMS option on your mobile phone and send the 12 digit tracking number to 8400. For example, 123456789000 To 8400.
I applied for a Form-B with a normal fee of Rs.50 for my children and I sent a message containing just the 12 digits tracking ID the next day and I received the following reply

Your request against tracking id -------- is with printing facility and expected delivery in 7 working days.
Then again I sent the tracking id on the third day of the application submission and got the following reply.
Your card against tracking id -------- is available at NRC and is located in pigeon hole crc at location 15545. Please collect your card from Nadra office Lahore.And if you sent the message after receiving the card, you will receive the following message.
Your card against tracking id -------- has already been delivered at 10-05-2019 01:32pm.Mobile network charges and taxes may apply.
NICOP/ POC Online Status Tracking
You can track the status of NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) and POC (Pakistan Origin card) online by entering either form number, receipt number or CNIC number.

I have also recieved that same message. But I have not applied for card.
