| No Salary Increase |
Federal Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh denied any proposal about salaries of government employees. During Question Answer Session in National Assembly on 10 December 2012, he told that currently there is no proposal of increase in salaries is under consideration. He further added that federal government of Pakistan has already increased salaries up to 120% during last five years.
There are many rumours of increase in salaries, unified pay scales and revised pay scales are in the news since last several months. But now after the statement of Federal Finance Minister, it seems that there are no chances of salary increase of government employees in near future.

And hope for the next coming tenure inshaallah, In the mean time I would like to have your good attention towards the worst days and night of the Govt : Employees in this dearness. The true picture of the Govt: Employees is that they can't save their integrity and white color not they easily give a reasonable atmosphere to their family members especially to their child for education.... My humble request to your good self is to please direct Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to announce the Pay and Pension Committee report regarding unified pay scale for the Govt: Employees. This is the time to win over the hearts of the Govt: Employees by implementing the Slogan of Shaheed Qaid Zulfiqar Ali Bhuto as well the Slogan of Shaheed Muhtarama Benazir Bhuto Sahiba.....
