Last year Government of Punjab granted 100 thousand Dell Laptops to students of Punjab. Now Punjab Government has started the 2nd phase of free laptop scheme with another 100,000 laptops, click for details.
This time HP's HP1000 Model Laptop will be granted, which has some specifications better than laptops which were gifted to students last year. HP1000 has Core i3 Processor instead of previous Dual Core, and it has 500GB hard drive instead of 320GB.
