Online Vehicle Verification System launched for Sindh

Online Vehicle Verification System

Government of Sindh (Pakistan) has launched an online system for verification of Sindh registered vehicle numbers e.g. cars, vans, motorcycles etc. This verification portal is created by Excise and Taxation Department of Sindh Government. This is a great achievement towards e-Government system.

To use this facility visit following link to go to Vehicle Verification Portal.


You can verify ownership of any car or other vehicle number of Sindh. Just enter the number of a vehicle in the search box given in the portal , Select one option by clicking the radio button "4 Wheelers Verification"or "2 Wheelers Verification", write Captcha Code and press Enter and you will get all the important information of that vehicle.

You will get following information about that vehicle:
  • Registration Number with Date
  • Tax Payment
  • Owner Name
  • Make of Vehicle
  • Make Year
  • Body Type
  • Model Year
  • Engine Number
  • Horse Power
  • Seating Capacity
  • CPLC etc

There are no charges for this service, you can use it free at your convenience in your home or office. Number can be found on number plates of all vehicles.

Flood in Pakistan – Flood in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (NWFP), Baluchistan, Kashmir, Sind Provinces – Flood in Mianwali, Chashma, Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu, Sukhar, Khushab Cities
Flood and heavy Monson rains destroyed various regions of Pakistan. Many parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, Kashmir and Sind are ruined by Flood. About 500~800 deaths are reported only in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. While death toll in Punjab, Baluchistan and Kashmir is also reaching to hundreds. Beside this there is a huge disaster to infrastructure, homes and farms. Thousands of lives are lost; villages and houses, agricultural farms and livestock are flooded.
Pak Army, Pak Navy and many other government and private organizations are rescuing the trapped people. Pak Army is supported with 34 Helicopters and many boats. They are providing rescue to trapped people and supplying ration, food, medicines, and water to the affected areas.
America will provide 04 boats to NDMA (National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan)
There is a high tide of 1,000,972 Cusec at Chashma Barrage in Indus (Sind) River. There is also flood at Kalabagh and Taunsa. Present discharge at Taunsa Barrage is 630,000 cusec which may reach 800,000 cusec in next 24 hours. There will be a discharge of approximately 700,000 cusec at Sukhar on 04~07 August. While discharge at Guddu Barrage will be approximately 600,000 cusec on 03 August which will reach about 9.5~10.5 lac cusecs on 06 August. There is also flood in Jhelum River at Khushab Bridge.
Mianwali and Hazara Division is declared as unsafe and hazardous regions by the government of Pakistan.
It is also feared that this flood may reach to Sindh. According to Chief Metrologist, heavy rains are forecasted in Karachi and other cities of Sindh in next 48 hours. There is a flood threat in lower areas of Sindh; Kotri, Guddu Barrage… on 04 August by Weather Department.
