Telemarketers will send promotional SMSs to their opt-in subscribers only. All promotional SMSs will also have opt-out option at the end of SMS. Sending SMS without consent is a violation of PTA's regulations and PECA.
To block all promotional/telemarketing SMSs, subscribe to Do Not Call Register (DNCR). SMS reg to 3627 (for Jazz, Zong & Ufone subscribers) or dial *3627# (for Telenor subscribers). For more information, visit www.pta.gov.pk or contact relevant mobile company.
