Guidelines for Beauty Parlors and Salons License Registration

Punjab Government has started a campaign for registration of all the beauty parlors and hair cutting salons of men and women in the province. Complete step by step procedure and requirements for registration and getting a license has been advertised in national newspapers. The ad has been designed in such a perfect and self-explanatory way that it has made the whole process easily understandable.

The demand for beauty parlors, gents salons, hamam and spas has been increased with the improvement in lifestyles and with a growing number of working women. With this high demand, many beauty parlors and salons have emerged in both urban and rural areas. But unfortunately, there was no department or authority which looked after and monitored the hygiene and cleanliness of these salons. So there were chances of spreading viral diseases due to some unhealthy practices of the beauty salons as they were experts in their field but have no proper training regarding health practices requirements.
