How to get Admission in Daanish School?


Daanish Schools are a state of the art residential/ boarding type school network established by the Government of Punjab. This school offers admissions in Class-6 to the deprived and needy girls and boys students.

Who can get Admission in Daanish School?

The criteria for admission is solely based on poverty and income levels. These schools were established for the girls and boys who belongs to the poorest and needy community who need special attention by the Government. 
Admissions will be granted to the most deprived students with any of the following conditions, given in order to preference. 
  • Who have total combined gross income of all the family members less than Rs.15,000 per month. 
  • He is orphan having lost both of his parents and having no guardian or being taken care of by an elder sibling or a member of extended family. 
  • He is orphan and living with his mother. 
  • His both parents are illiterate; the parents do not own an immovable property and either of them is disabled. 
  • He has been a school dropout and his both parents are illiterate and the parents do not own any immovable property. 
  • His both parents are illiterate; the parents do not own any immovable property and do not have any fixed job or source of income. 
  • He is not resident of a town, tehsil or district headquarters and any of his parents is a semi-skilled or unskilled menial village worker, and the parents do not own any immovable property and are illiterate, and 
  • He is resident of a town, tehsil or district headquarters and his household resides in a katcha house. 
There are some other conditions for eligibility:
  • Only one student from a family may get admission. However twins may get admission if they both fulfills merit criteria.
  • Age limit for boys is 10-12 years, for girls 10-13 years.
  • Be a student or have passed exams of Class V
  • Should clear the written test. 
  • Clear the Medical test 

Admission on Self-finance

10% quota has also been reserved for self-finance students, who have to pay Rs.16,500 per month for fee and other expenses.

Quota for Other Provinces

Some seats are reserved for deserved students of Sindh, KPK, Baluchistan, Cholistan, Gilgit Baltistan, AJK and former FATA (especially WANA). 

How to get Admission in Daanish School?

1. Admission forms are available in Urdu and English at Daanish Schools and can also be downloaded from its website
2.  The duly filled admissions form must be deposited into the respective Daanish Schools along with the following attested documents: 
  • Three passport size photographs
  • Final result of class 5th
  • Photocopy of father’s ID card
  • Birth certificate B Form
3.  The applicant have to clear written test of English, Urdu, Math, Science and IQ.
4.  Student have to clear medical test.
